To generate traffick you need to be submitting in forums and set up an account with at least 5 to maximise your sites exposure. Why? Because they have a high traffic flow of readers.

twitter can direct a little amount of traffick to any given site each day, It is a great site to get the word out about something to promote or sell but many people still believe you need thousand's of follower's in order to get magical result's.
