Quitting Smoking With ChampixQuitting Smoking
Smoking
is a difficult habbit to break. Once you have been addicted to
nicotine for a few year's it become's a part of your daily routine and
then it become's a psychological problem aswel.
If you smoke a
cigarette after every meal, At every break time at work or every time
you go out drinking then you will find it difficult but not impossible.
The
problem with alot of people is that they don't believe in themselve's,
Disabiling them to achieve what they think they can only dream of, This
goes for anything not just smoking!
Champix
Champix
is a drug invented that work's in your brain. If you smoke then your
brain grow's receptor's, These receptor's feed on nicotine the more you
smoke the more they grow and the more addicted you will become. If you
have never smoked then you will not have these receptor's.
Champix
works in a fantastic way. When you smoke your body release's a chemical
that bring's your sugar level up giving you a good feeling when you
toke on a cigarette. Champix block's the nicotine receptor's in your
brain so they cannot feed off the nicotine. You smoke the first 11
day's of taking the Champix pill. Ove these 11 day's as you are
smoking you will notice that it does not do anything, Instead of
feeling relieved when you smoke you wont feel anything making it
pointless to smoke!
The champix release a 'seratonium' type of chemical in your body replacing any loss of feeling's when you smoke.
When
you smoke your whole body is affected without you realising. Your
nicotine receptor's keep growing, The chemical released in your body
from smoking raises your sugar level in your kidney's making you feel
good.
Breaking The Habbit
This is one of
the hardest thing's to do. If you are used to haveing a cigarette at
certain time's of the day, Then you will need to find something to
substitute that. Try chewing gum, Playing a sport, Engulf yourself in
work, Reward yourself big or small, Make yourself feel good and that
you have achieved something. Champix will break your addiction the rest
is down to you.
CHAMPIX IS NOT FOR EVERYONE
Of
course with a drug this strong it will not be for everyone.
Origionally a tablet similar to this was used as an anti depressant and
they noticed people on them had started to quit smoking. There can be
side effect's or major depression so if you have ever suffered
depression in the past then i doubt you would be able to get them
prescribed. You start of on 0.5mg per day for 3 day's to see if you
do have any reaction to them, Then you go to 1mg a day.
